Web Force 5 - The Face Of Small Business

The Faces Of Small Business Exhibition
The Faces Of Small Business Exhibition is an initiative by the Victorian Government as part of the Small Business Festival designed to celebrate outstanding small businesses from across Victoria with this collection of personal images and stories that highlight some of the ways Victorian small businesses inspire us all. Web Force 5 was proud to be recognised as one of the Faces of Small Business and is an active participant in the festival agenda.
Support For Charities & Not For Profit Organisations
Web Force 5 became visible to the Victorian State Government through its involvement in a government sponsored strategic planning initiative - Grow Your Business. As part of that activity it became apparent to a number of state government staff that Web Force 5 not only takes a radically different approach to small business websites than the average website provider, we also actively support a number of charities and not for profit organisations - organisations that can't afford the typical costs associated with the development and ongoing management of a website.
Web Force 5 supports in excess of 12 such organisations providing our website design, search optimisation and other online related services gladly. It's not all about the upfront assistance we provide however, as is often the case charities rely on a volunteer base for most things. The fact that the Web Force 5 website system is so easy to use means that the ongoing website management responsibilities are easily shared across a volunteer base that require no technical knowledge. This sharing extends across all of the functions that are provided by default with the Web Force 5 system including:
- E-Marketing System - facilitating communication across stakeholder groups with differing interests
- Easy Content Management - making it easy to update and change any type of content on the website
- Shopping Cart - generating revenue, accepting donations and managing event registrations
- Customer Relationship Management - an integrated database management system easily configured to their requirements
- Forms/Surveys/Reporting - and a range of other functions that all easily managed by non technically skilled people
Transparency In Everything
The other aspect of the Web Force 5 system that was an important part of our nomination as part of the Small Business Festival was the unique customer engagement process and tools that have been developed by Web Force 5. Designed to remove the typical lack of detail and ambiguity associated with website scoping and planning processes, the Web Force 5 website scoping process makes the whole website planning and quoting process transparent, easy to follow and allows the customer to create their own detailed website quotation within an initial 50 minute meeting.
Taking the "tech mumbo-jumbo" out of the website conversation puts the charity volunteers or small business owner back in control of the discussion rather than being blindly guided through a process by someone who talks in a different language. The Web Force 5 tools and website scoping process is unique to the website industry and the innovation and investment made by Web Force 5 in an effort to make something usually very complex so easy was another factor in our nomination as part of the Small Business Festival.
We are certainly proud to be part of the Faces Of Small Business Exhibition and the Small Business Festival. We are even prouder of the fact that the Web Force 5 website systems and tools continue to provide small businesses throughout Australia with an affordable, fully functional website alternative that is supported by locally based staff.
